High5
High5 provides a range of sports nutrition products designed to support endurance training and competition, including electrolyte tablets, energy gels, and gummies.
Are there any artificial sweeteners in High5 products?
High5 generally aims to use simple ingredients where possible. Their products use natural flavours and do not contain artificial sweeteners such as aspartame or acesulfame. An exception is ZERO, which includes sucralose.
Should I try the products before race day?
Yes. It’s recommended to test both products and your fuelling strategy during training rather than on race day. This allows you to see how your body responds and make adjustments. When possible, trial them under conditions similar to your event.
Will ZERO fuel me for sessions longer than two hours?
No. ZERO is designed for hydration and re-hydration only. It contains electrolytes but no calories or sugar, so it does not provide energy. For longer sessions, carbohydrate-based drinks or energy products are more appropriate.
Can I mix ZERO with other products?
ZERO Neutral is intended to be flexible and can be combined with other drinks. Some athletes mix it with flavoured drinks or sports drinks to increase electrolyte intake without adding extra sugar.
Should I use Energy Gel or Energy Gel Aqua?
Both products serve the same purpose and provide energy during exercise. The choice comes down to personal preference. Energy Gel Aqua has a thinner, more drink-like texture, while Energy Gel is more compact and easier to carry in larger quantities.
Can I mix the drinks the night before?
High5 drinks do not contain preservatives, so they are best consumed shortly after mixing. If you prepare a drink in advance, it should be stored in the fridge and used the following day.
